I'm a Communications major and a Management major. I have a Marketing concentration and a System Information & Business Analytics concentration. I accomplished this in 4 years and will be graduating this semester.

I have experience working as a Business developer and account executive at a start up company in the robotics industry.

What type of job should I be looking for?

What type of certifications should i be looking at?

Any over all advice in to my career path is welcomed.

Hi everyone, I’m in a medium size consulting firm started working since Oct 2021. I’m wondering is it good to jump to industry for my next move or move up in the consulting world to polish my resume better with MBB or Big 4 in my resume… any thoughts? I really don’t know what to do in life so either one works for me, but I’m just lost.

Hypothetical: hiring for a Lead Product Designer position to own direction of a data heavy saas app, would you hire someone that pivoted into UX from marketing and graduated HCI masters recently or someone who had a web designer/dev freelance & UX consulting background?

Just based on those two points.

I’m new to in-house and I begin in January. I wanted to basically better understand M&A and all the inner workings of expanding the scope of a business into new avenues. Does anyone recommend a book or two that may be relevant/helpful? On amazon, I see “The Art of M&A” and “Working With Contracts”. Thank you for any insight.

Anyone switched from Becker to Wiley and regretted it? I did and though I appreciate the bite-sized lectures, I don't enjoy it as much as Becker. My work quality is slipping due to brain fog and mental health issues and I don’t know how to address it with my firm or who to go to. What was your experience with the LSAT? Do you think it's gatekeeping, preventing students who can't afford it (often people of color) from entering the field? OR is it helping future attorney's of color by giving them a chance to go to a top school regardless of grades? I've seen questions about the LSAT all day and just want to know how people feel.

I'm a younger plaintiff's side attorney (31). Does anyone else feel like white attorneys give you a particularly harder time? Like unreasonably denying clear facts, or trying to fish for a way to sanction you? Usually it's solo defense attorneys that get extreme with it, but I've seen some questionable stuff from BigLaw too. Hopefully I'm not the only one.
