What should I do in a scenario where I was hired (12+ years) with far less salary than(~20% less) than other members (4+ experience) in team and asked to take 80% of team's responsibilities. The hiring manager low balled me sensing that I am in dire need of that job and now I am stuck for 2 years now. The company is a big shot but I am literally getting paid less than what I used to make 10 years ago. Should I try to move within or look outside?

I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. Recruiter for big tech company reached out on LinkedIn about a role. I asked about ballpark compensation numbers and they said they’re only comfortable sharing on a live call.
