How soon should someone start thinking about pursuing CFP or CFA designation? What are the requirements and is it worth it?
My uncle, and aunt, had about $750k in investments scattered across 14 different retirement accounts, brokerage accounts, annuities, on different platforms. They are 65. Three months ago they asked me if I could help them consolidate everything. I agreed. We started the process and this week the last of the funds came into their new Vanguard accounts! Question: how do I scale this work organically, as a side hustle? I have an MBA in finance, but no CFP or other financial planning designation.
Thinking about getting the CFP. Have any CPAs done it? Is it as hard as they say compared to the CPA?
Can I start an LLC and manage people’s money through a fund account without being a licensed CFP or having passed the series 7, etc?

I have a CFP question. I’m thinking of getting mine and I read online about all the required course work and capstone course before you can sit for the test. But I keep reading posts (more inside)

Considering becoming a CFP and CFA but I’d like to know what the job market looks like. For those of you who are practicing, how long were you searching for a job and are you satisfied with your experience thus far?
I don't have anyone else who gets this, but I hit my personal goal this year in almost every category; revenue, income, AUM growth, etc. Our fiscal year ends in October and I ended the year with a bang. Just super excited and I hope everyone else knows, this business is worth it when you put in the time and effort! Edit: also passed CFP in March!
Help! What's the best online CFP course?
CFP study tips? Just started program this week.
Not a CFP so I’m not truly in the know. That said, if I’m reading this article right, 10/2019 to maintain your CFP, you will have to drop your 7 license if you are dually registered?
I have my CFP and my CRPC. I’ve thought of dropping the CRPC and just maintaining the CFP. Thoughts?
Which certifications (aside from CPA & CFP) do those who work in HNW taxation find most beneficial to their career?
Thoughts on getting CFP when done with CPA (1 test left) and pivoting from audit to personal financial planning? Estates, taxes, savings, etc. Or should I just stick the OG plan and go into industry FP&A when I make senior/CPA?
Can I do PCS TAX as a finance major and pursuing my CFP? Or is a CPA 100% necessary? Any advice would help.
I have a new babysitter/mother’s helper. she is a college student and i’m trying to figure out what to tell her to do when baby naps (often for two hours). she has a long break in between but my day with her lacks structure , so basically she is watching my child and they play the whole day. Does anyone have any experience with the relocation clawback provision recently? I took the payout option and have been preparing to move, but just found out I was approved for permanent remote work. I am grateful for the option, but still plan on eventually moving to the Bay area and if given the choice not until after a year or more. For employees who eventually did not end up moving within the year (but were still with Google) did the clawback provision still get exercised?

My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.
