Not from ZS or Deloitte but assuming you are under ZS’ actual management consulting track (I know they have many tracks) - I feel it’s quite a step-down. But might be worth if you want to move out of pharma :)
Not sure ZS->B4 is a good move tbh
I wonder why you think it’s less pay, but since I don’t know ZS culture I cannot compare. I have been at D over 10 years and the culture used to be better. Right not is very diluted because of our growth, hiring many leaders from all fronts to diversify but creating confused culture
Thanks. I'm looking to get into Strategy and Analytics. Assuming with my 1 year of experience, I would be applying for a Consultant role? Please correct me if I'm wrong
Possibly 2nd year analyst
Your thirst level will be quantified in round one by HR. Make sure you have your head in the game for this.
Understood, thanks and yes, I'm determined to challenge myself and explore more in my next opportunity
MBB/T2 or bust - B4 not worth your time coming from ZS

It varies. Depends on the practice you’re looking to get into and at what level.
Why do you want out of ZS?
Looking to solidify myself in other spaces than just Pharma.
Deloitte won't offer you an advantage in pay or progression (outside of very specific groups and even then only if you have a top MBA), maybe only just wider industry exposure. Not sure that's worth it. Pharma isn't a bad place to be and is probably one of the highest paying industries anyways.
