I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.

We’re an international company with generous PTO. In the UK, we have a PTO Lump Sum bank. In the US, we’re stuck on accrual due to risk of not being able to recoup @ termination. I recently started with Firm A (AM Top 200), and Firm B (AM Top 50) reached out for an interview. Given the potential pay with Firm B is significant (I’d say life-changing), I scheduled the interview. Should I disclose Firm A during the interview or wait and only disclose if Firm B makes an offer? Between now and the interview, I will not have completed any significant work for Firm A.

Hi - I’m a lawyer based in the UK, and looking to improve my IP law knowledge. Has anyone done the PGDip in IP Law at Oxford? Or can anyone give any suggestions on some good courses / resources? My background is in transactional, but improving my IP law knowledge would really help with my role.

I am not sure just how many people are in this bowl but I feel like I just need to say this...I AM SO GRATEFUL AND HAPPY WITH MY DECISION TO PRACTICE IP! I am a newer attorney and I practice solely trademark law. I love it, my boss, my schedule and I am happy! I am seeing so many attorneys posting about burnout, stress, and hating their jobs in the other bowls and I just needed to shout it out to the universe that I think we made the right decision with IP.

Is it a viable business opportunity for a mid level patent litigation associate to leave BigLaw and consult? Service could include pre-litigation diligence (e.g., pre-litigation infringement analysis) for funding companies and law firms, overflow work, consulting for patent prosecution firms that take on ipr or litigation work, litigation consulting for tech companies that don’t have in-house counsel.
