Looking to move back to Europe (moved to US as a child and never actually worked in Europe). I’m in sales and use tax(consulting not compliance) at EY right now, and realise I might not find a completely transferable role in the UK, but what would be my closest options? Just VAT? Also, what’s a typical salary for a senior in Scotland?
If anyone’s worked in both U.S. and UK could you share some pros and cons for both?

I am currently a Senior Consultant in KPMG Australia’s human capital advisory function - however I have been recently offered a role with Accenture Australia’s human capital advisory function as an ‘Associate Manager’ with a 15K salary bump and an enticing bonus structure - with some very cool clients that they mentioned to me in their interview round. Ive accepted an offer going from a SM role to M role at EY in the CCas team , London office. Can anyone confirm how often one needs to come into the office, as my commute is from Hampshire . In my current role I rarely go to the office, i.e once every few months (also in London) and am considering backing out due to the additional commuting cost and less flexible work life balance.
