Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

Hi guys,
Need help,I am joining VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.
So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?

First day back in industry! Wish me luck! ❤️
Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?
Dang. URI just beat Okla. 😭😭

MBB pays more but its also far more competitive and tougher to get a job there. They command higher rates snd get paid more accordingly.
There is a reason that they don't need to focus on utilization. Big4 still pays fairly well and partners also do well but it is simply a different scale.
Fuck you EY, can't you just let me live thinking I'm doing alright.
Think all in ballparks look like: 90-150-220-400-700-2-4-10
Holy moly you guys are rich as shit
Haha wtf is all in at 10? Dom?
Apparently some of us have to reevaluate our lives...
I think he meant .75M.
Or she. #equality.
M2- yes I like to be exhaustive 👹
S& is similar to MBB
Was MBA, but think base is 70-90-150 first 3 years. Technically, can be short stop at ~110 (A3) before promo to C.
I can post my progression in 4 years (with 2 jumps) - 62 - 68 - 76(promoted)-105 (changed job immediately)-107 (meagerly increase) - 125 (changed job again)
Lol I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around these salary numbers.
Yes 3/4 = 0.75 (while implying less precision). I see how that could have been unclear.
Levels 3 and 4 seem high if this is supposed to be base. If it includes bonus, level 2 seems low.
Yea. 150 is more like base, so add 15% or so.
I think it's 80 base, 85 the next year, then something in the 100k range (mid 100k when you include profit sharing) for third year out of undergrad
BCG2 - it's actually the same first two years (everyone's salary is adjusted yearly for inflation) currently at 83K, and then at 21 months it's 110K for 3 months, then the C salary at ~150K
So, what does an entry-level Partner at McK or BCG or Bain make - I imagine that is fairly standardized..... and what about an entry-level Senior Partner / McK Director?
Yup. 3/4M+ for new partner. After that, you eat what you(or your sponsors) kill.
