Got industry offer for Director level role in strategy / Corp dev M&A at a late stage pre-IPO unicorn (Series D+) at a MCOL city. 200 base, 20% bonus, additional 40k/yr options. So $280K range all in starting. I’m currently making $250K in VC here in Bay Area. Job is in a MCOL T2 city (Boston/Dallas/Austin/Chicago) so I won’t be living in expensive Bay Area.
