Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

Don’t know if it’s a test. I interview there some 7-8 years ago and just had one in person interview then an offer. I didn’t take it.
The bigger question, if it’s been canceled 4 times, do you really want to go work at a place that is that mismanaged? I’m not speaking about ML in a whole, but just that office.
@op ML recruited me for 6 months, non-stop in 1999. After doing their initial pre-qual. Test's and interviewing they said they wanted to extend an offer and to leave my job as a financial advisor at the bank I started with. I was 23 and didn't know any better. Left my job at the bank, then they had me come for "final" interview with Ray Baar (branch president) took his test and they called me in 1 more time. He told me I tested as someone who wouldn't make it in the business. Told him I didn't know what their test measured, but it couldn't measure determination and heart. Within a year I had become the leading fa at one of the largest banks in the country and I'd do it with it without Merrill...also reminded him they were the one who hounded me for 6 months and told me I already had a job, when I was ready. He smiled and said I was hired. I'm pretty sure it was a game... at least in my personal experience. I left their after 1 year. Were always asking me to sell client's and prospects in the stocks they just so happened to be underwriting. I was young and too naive and dumb to "get it" for a while but eventually put it together and was looked down upon for refusing to play that game. I left and am celebrating my 19th year in the industry. In all honesty, it took me a while to figure out my style and area of expertise was beget suited better for the independent RIA route. Not sure if that's helpful, but if you bought on their whole work with us because you'll get business because of the name on your card and we have the best analysis and research departments... it's bs! Not to mention they had us study for and become CFM's (their own version of CFP , "except is better) come to find out the CFM is NOT transferable and is only recognized at Merrill.
Apparently they don’t respect your time
Where is this?? Probably not a game..
Your not the only one. I’m in the same process. After the assessments, the recruiter schedule me for a brief call and that was 3 weeks ago. Recruiter it’s been rescheduling my call since my assessments results. I have my call this coming Friday, hopefully!
Anyone experienced ML doing this? Is it a game or test of my persistence?
I agree with MP 1🔝
This occurred in Jacksonville, FL. Team name starts with letter D
If you have to ask on here if it’s a game or not, it’s clearly already a mind game. Go somewhere that takes you and your time seriously.
