My husband is the kindest, most patient and supportive man I’ve ever met other than my dear late grandfather. He is saintly. But the chaos that surrounds him hurts me. I don’t know if coming out is something I should do or not anymore. My girlfriend and I want to get married in the next couple of years but thats not something I want to keep secret. It hurts me that I feel like I have to do that, but I don’t want to risk losing my job. I know they can’t fire me for being in a wlw relationship but they don’t have to give a reason. I’m mid 30s F. Recently started seeing this guy, where he is “good enough”. Good conversations, decent time together, he has a good heart, but nothing about him shines. - not fit (I work out everyday and play sports), meh social skills (he doesn’t have best friends, just few he hangs out with), bit less energy than me.

How do you balance your social life with work? I feel like all my non-law friends are out doing shit every night and living it up on the weekends and I just can't.
