Move from sales strategy / biz ops to biz dev or partner manager roles? I want to move closer to the revenue side in order to make more money and think that a partner manager or biz dev role could be cool but can’t get past a few interview rounds and the feedback is always that I have not done the role before. Since there are no classes / trainings on biz dev, am I forever doomed to not be able to pivot into this? Frustrated because I can’t fix that I have not done it before.

I've seen people say that if you're underpaid, you can't just outline your contributions because your manager needs a compelling reason for finance to bump your salary and they need to prove you're underpaid.
