Multi-asset: what are exit opps for someone coming from Multi-Asset involved in tactical asset allocation, strategic asset allocation/portfolio construction and well as doing research (ad hoc) on eg credit signals and projects on options strategies. They allocate into iShares for portfolios. Also will be using Python in role.

Ideally would like to pivot into a global macro / absolute return fund (eg hedge fund) but wondering how difficult this is? At a large AM that does do abs return funds.

What kind of companies pay more than $200k base and what practice areas? Remote or Texas. I’m a new attorney between M&A and L&E, but I’m willing to switch practice areas for the best exit options in the future (4-5 yoe).

Just received 2 offers that I’m weighing, both in Advertising tech:
1. Smaller firm about to be acquired by a larger one, Product Marketing role (title would be Sr. PMM)
2. FAANG, Sales Account Manager role (similar to my current role)
I have 5-6 YOE and have been in an Account Management role for most of my career - is it worth making the switch to PMM at a smaller firm or sticking with what I know at a FAANG? Both would have relatively similar comp. Thanks in advance for your input!

Just curious to how my firms (wealth management/bank/trust) comp compares with others out there. I received a promotion earlier this year from an Investment Advisor, AVP to Senior Investment Advisor, VP and moved from $110K to $140K ($130 salary + $10K discretionary bonus) all in. By meeting expectations in 2 pay cycles, the base bumps up to $175K + bonus. Grown in this role over about 10 years with the same firm, MBA + CFA; top 10 city and living comfortably as dual income household.

Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams.
