My 3-year career plan as a Junior Data Analyst
In the next 3 years, I want to grow into a mid-level analyst role with stronger skills in Python, data modeling, and business intelligence. I plan to continue learning while gaining experience at Capital One or similar companies. I'm focused on improving my interview and technical skills to reach a salary of 85,000 or more.
More details are in the comment.

Just curious though, mid career with 90k~ salary seems low? Maybe I am delusional. I guess it’s low cost of living city? Does bank pay less? I am currently in the similar situation and live in a low cost of living city making total of just shy of 100k with 4 YOE.

Also, salary depends on your industry; specific industries pay more or less for the same type of work. But this follows too high pay to high risk. That is something you consider.

Company y offered 11 LPA

I want to join company x more due to their tech stack, culture etc. It's also an established product based company while y is service based.
How do I initiate negotiations with x? I have plenty of time left in notice, but x also requested to join early (if previous company releases, with buyout+bonus) for which I have discussions next Wednesday.

Additional Posts in Data Analytics & Data Science

Hi , I recently started preparing for " data analyst" course. I have masters degree in computer science and 2 years experience as business analyst. Currently I'm on a career break of almost 7 years and trying to get back into IT as a data analyst now.
I started doing a course on coursera " Google data analytics certificate " . I'm not sure how to get back into job market. Please suggest any courses or road map to entry level data analyst jobs?
