My resume got shortlisted for Operations Associate/Engineer-Amazon Managed Services role. I am an experienced AWS engineer with 5YOE.I feel like this role will be degrading in nature for me. Is it worth joining for this position. I would love to join Amazon based on my experience and skill set. But Not to some position which doesn't require AWS experience.

Try going to a physical therapist. They can help you strengthen other muscles that will help you sit in any chair. I also bought a standing desk so I’m not sitting all day.
Have an appointment with a chiropractor next week! Will look into PT next

Try this too, it has helped me - https://youtu.be/p6CMso14NWk

Get the bayside brand one from costco for $100. It’s a very good dupe.
Thanks will look into this
Get the Herman Miller…….. you literally can’t sleep at night, this isn’t the time to pinch pennies. It helped with my back pain from 2 herniated discs.
But what REALLY helped it before the chair was physical therapy. They helped me strengthen my core and flutes and poof, almost entirely gone. The chair helps me avoid recurrence of pain when sitting for hours on end.
Rising Star
Steelcase series 1 or anything higher . I love mine
Rising Star
K1 - yeah series 1 is definitely not for everyone. I’m 5’10 and i used my friends first to be sure that I would like it.
Get a standing desk, helped me, basic ones from Amazon are good
Having managing back pain for over a decade, i would recommend switching to a standing desk first rather than a chair. Even if u get the best chair, sitting long hrs is what triggers the pain. Try stretching, physio, massage to get relief from pain immediately. The sooner you can address this the better. Hope you feel better soon
Physio and weight training. Chairs don’t do anything for back pain
Spend $100 and get a barbell from Amazon and do some squats. I used to have terrible back problems that went away with acupuncture but came back suddenly years later. I started running and did some weight lifting at the advice of PT. Back problems went away too.
Get a standing desk, made all the difference for me! Stand for about an hour and then sit for only 10 minutes or so to give your legs some rest. Rinse and repeat. When you start you will need to sit more frequently for rest but with time it will become easier for you.
Better mattress, weight loss, stop sitting and get a standing desk.
Theragun will help or standing desk
Most lower back pain is due to weak glutes - because of which your lower back has to work harder to keep your posture
Strat working out or at the very least do 50-100 body weight squats everyday
You’ll see a difference
Hmm - if you’re squatting heavily once a week then there must be something else that’s wrong - do you sleep on a firm mattress? I saw instant results from that
Assuming you look like the average American during covid, lose weight first
Nvm, you in sexy shape.
If you’re in NYC, there’s a great acupressure therapist I know who has permanently helped many people

Try Ticova ergonomic office chair. I just got one and it seems to be good. Has lumbar support and neck adjustment as well. Check reviews on Amazon
Active release works wonders for sitting related back pain - and sports injuries.
I got a few years old used Herman Miller Aeron a few months ago for $500 and haven’t regretted it for a second. Sat at a kitchen chair for 6 months before that and my back was killing me. Not anymore.
