I think if you start looking - just the thought of new opportunities might allow you to continue working while you find a new job… Just think how much better you would feel walking out of there giving your resignation knowing you’re moving on. IDK If you’re really hurting do you have some PTO you can take or vacation time? And as a last resort if you have the resources behind you and financially you can do it then yeah leave.
Just want to say, you’re not alone. I know that doesn’t make your situation better, but sadly this is a common thing in advertising. Do what’s best for you and your mental health. The rest will fall into place. 💖
I appreciate this so much. Thank you 💖
Have you been job searching?
Have you looked at remote options, freelance etc.? Take advantage of the current downtime you have. It’s usually not a good idea to quit without something else lined up, but if you’re really struggling and can afford it then do it. But, if you’ve been looking for awhile then maybe quitting, doing a mental reset, taking a break is the way to go.
This is the shared google sheet of agencies with remote options:

I also know GSD&M in Austin is hiring remote for many positions.
