Please, please please take the new job if offered. You have no reason to feel guilty about leaving. Your coworkers would do the same thing if they could, and I'm sure you wouldn't begrudge them for it. Don't think twice about this. If you can get an offer with significantly better pay and benefits, you take it every single time.
Simply make sure that the new job’s extra pay is not “combat pay” for an untenable situation. You clearly value the work you do, and there is nothing wrong with that. Be glad that you are good enough to get an offer in this environment.
It is a job. At the end of every day your time is recorded and you are even.
The grass isn't always greener - which is never truly known until you get there. Go into it with eyes wide open. Be positive and adjust expectations as needed.
There's tremendous value and comfort in a solid team. Those are hard to find. But don't let that stop you from seeking what's best for your financial well-being. Best of luck!

Depending on the size of the company, it can go through many different layoffs and reorganizations.
I was with a company for 23 months and 1 day, the company went through 3-4 layoffs / job eliminations and a little over a year of being under a wage / hiring freeze before they ended up closing the business and declaring bankruptcy. When a company declares bankruptcy, the employees become creditors which means some or none of the employees could get paid which could take months, years, or never.
If your company is in that shape, I would not really worry be guilty as it is nice to have a company that we like although we still need to watch out for ourselves.
