My dream is to work for BCG. I have been at Accenture for 3 years, and a level 9. How does one land an interview with no network at BCG?

I applied to one of the roles and after initial screening I happened to see in the website that there are no suitable openings for my profile.

I heard that the cool off period is six months. Does that apply to my situation because I didn't attend any interview.

Can I use referals to apply before 6 months? Or should I wait for 6 more months?

(We join as Consultants in Deloitte post Bschool, and it takes 2-4 years to get promoted to an SC)

I can start. For most people, Deloitte USI pays 25 - 34 LPA (Fixed) + 10% variable

Accenture talent and org offer. Manager hire at $175k base and $25k signing. Good?

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? How to answer “What is Your Current Salary/$ Expectation” when my Big4 salary is HIGHER than what NewCompany will pay? Do I mention my salary to prove market value or be discreet so I’m not ruled out?

4YOE @Amazon & trying to lateral to a similar role @FAANG. Have my undergrad GPA (3.8/4) on resume from top 15 school but colleague says to take it off (looks silly). If it’s a good school & high GPA, why ever take it off your resume? Even if 10 YOE...can’t hurt?

I make 195 in an internal role but am applying to outside consulting opportunities. I’m an experienced manager with an mba and a cpa. How much comp should I be targeting? Thinking about asking for base of 200, bonus of 25% … reasonable? Unrealistic? Should I ask for more? I hear the market is crazy right now. Please help.

I want to exit to MBB but if that’s not a possibility what are the next best consulting firms? Looking for at least midsize firms (non-boutiques).

Which would you rather? Internal at MBB or client-facing at Big 4/ACN?
