My employer makes me work on public holiday.
My off day is Wednesday and I work 6 days a week.

21 st March. hari yaya fell on Saturday which is considered as my usual working day.

They never pay extra - we claim off in lieu.
Thay doesn't want to give me money or off in lieu.

The management is always like this - push to work on public holiday. When taking off in lieu, they are acting like I take it for free.

So annoying and exusting.

I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis.
