I’ve worked for a medical consultant company in Houston the last two years doing various things from billing to patient care to even doing medical records request. I have been looking for a job preferably where I can put my masters in healthcare administration to use but most of the jobs I went to apply for I qualify for everything but the management and supervisory years.

Is there anyone who works for Google or Amazon and has a healthcare background with no tech skills? I have my MBA with a healthcare concentration and I’m looking to switch industries. I’ve started to take certification courses on Udemy but would love any insight on how I could get my foot in the door with those companies. Thank you!!

Looking for a remote/hybrid/onsite (Calgary,Alberta) job for my boyfriend who got almost 5 years of experience in proposal writing, RFP, RFI and bid management for a civil engineering firm. I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?

I renegotiated my start date and it’s different from the date I signed on the offer letter. Do I need to request a revised offer letter or is the email thread with the recruiter sufficient. By the way, my background check is already in progress.

I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services.
