You will do great
Thanks for this vibe. I need it 🔥
I kind of have the same story. I have jumped around and not landing in the right space. I feel like this gig is my last shot.
But it isn't really. I just get myself all in my head. Have a drink, get some sleep and don't freak out. Oh, and save some $. If it crashes and burns, take yourself to somewhere quiet to regroup. When it turns out fantastic, you can celebrate. Good luck... to us both!!
Thank you. I'm so glad to not be alone.
My prior jobs were fine and dandy. I gained some much confidence in myself and my skills after them. Then I spent 10 months with a narcissist for a boss and not only did was my confidence ground up into fine dust and set on fire, I have a job hopper status on my resume.
I wish you the best of luck too. May this job at least meet our basic standards because my standards for "nice" are so low now, any halfway decent manager could make me cry tears of joy.
Try and remember just smile and be useful. That’s who most people want to work with. You got this!
this was me but i quit my last job, took a 6 month break and did intense therapy (a lot of my childhood issues were showing up at work), and now work at a job that sucks but i just make the best of it.
all jobs suck one way or another so you have to adapt
Hey I have job hopped a lot these past five years so I totally get it. Remember it can take a year to fully understand the job, people’s personalities ( for you to grow on them and for them to grow on you, to know and for them to know your strengths and weaknesses.
With that being said
Are you going from small cpa firm to small cpa firm? My point being is it is insanity to keep doing the same thing over and over again. Try different industries, sized firms, roles, teams etc

I'm trying man 🥲
It’s gonna be bad
You are going to do great! Best of luck! Let us know how it goes! 🙏🏼✨
Your health is always the number one thing in your life, period. Good luck!
You got this
Poor you. I'm so sorry. It is very nerve wracking starting a new job. Hang in there. Praying it is a company that really makes you feel welcomed and thankful to have you. If working with a team, they all just want to work together and do the job. Praying you go home tomorrow night and feel ot is a good fit for you. Give it time to work with you and for you. Chances are, you have to learn the ways first. Goid luck! I hope you enjoy your new position.
