Dear fishes, After working in Autosar(CAN/FR/OS) configuration for 4 years, I wanted to switch domain to device drivers. So I bought a STM board. Joined some udemy courses. Learnt SPI/I2C/NVIC/exception handling and FREERTOS/OS. Now I want to apply to companies like Nvidia Texas Instruments Qualcomm NXP Without any prior experience I am a bit nervous as people say the interviews would be very difficult in these.
Please help with embedded and prog ques for these interviews.
TIA. Please reply.

As a hiring manager, I look at patterns. One short stint you can explain, but if you’re 5 years outwith 4 jobs, your history suggests I will have to hire your replacement in a year. I’m not making a forever hire, but an avg tenure of 2-3 years makes a strong impression.
It is always a red flag if you have been at an agency for less than a year and are looking for a new position, regardless of level. Can easily be played out as general unhappiness if looking for a lateral move. But will still be suspect.
Depends on who's making the call on the hire. As long as she has a good reason or can think of a good reason, it shouldn't hurt her. I think people just get annoyed when people don't stay around for long cause they're scared this is just another jump to another jump.
9 months? Yes.
Especially if they’ve skipped around before
Then why did they invite her in to interview?
No. But make sure she can quantify some accomplishments in the 9 months of being there. Otherwise she’ll look like she’s not proactive.
