My friend M30, is a tech consultant (basically a BA) in Wipro with 19 LPA (17.5 fixed and rest variable) received an offer from Accenture strategy but at Analyst role (M11) with 23L fixed and 2L JB.

He like the switch to strategy/management consulting. But for him its like starting from scratch. He has been recommended for promotion at Wipro should get it next cycle but still max 5% hike is expected.

Just received 2 offers that I’m weighing, both in Advertising tech:
1. Smaller firm about to be acquired by a larger one, Product Marketing role (title would be Sr. PMM)
2. FAANG, Sales Account Manager role (similar to my current role)
I have 5-6 YOE and have been in an Account Management role for most of my career - is it worth making the switch to PMM at a smaller firm or sticking with what I know at a FAANG? Both would have relatively similar comp. Thanks in advance for your input!
