Honestly like having the space between my partner and I. Makes me appreciate them more when I’m with them and value the things we do together better than I have been.
If you’re home, build your own life and hobbies. It will pay off in the long run. Also, set up specific date nights/trips/etc. And be sure and do nice things occasionally when they come back from travel. Travel can be exhausting and having something to look forward to helps, even if it’s like, boxed wine and Cheetos :)

Marrage should be prettt easy. It’s when you have kids that it becomes impossible
Lol — main reason why we both swore against kids!
We def appreciate each other more. Pre covid, I used to face time her every night, send and receive “fun” pics, and eventually plan an exit to consulting.
Post covid, it’s less frequent but sometimes she would just WFH from my hotel.
I love the travel/alone time it actually gives us the space to think of things we want to do together.
Not a fan of travel for me or him but in my current role I travel 10-20%. I could try to get another role but it would likely lead to a paycut. We deal with it by talking on the phone and texting regularly while I'm gone and I generally bring him back a small treat on my return (a local chocolate bar etc) to eat with whatever dinner we order as part of our partner-returned-from-travel ritual
