Layoffs at Omnicom shops today?
I am a full stack developer java, springboot, microservices, angular, oracle, inhouse cloud.
As a 602 with 12.6 YOE
Got 10 % mid year hike on a fine day unexpectedly which pushed my cctc to 29.2
We have 60k ceo bonus and 18% variable pay I am getting since last 4 years.
After checking lot of posts here it seems I am on low ctc here.
How much should I target next and which companies ?
JPMorgan Chase

I can't speak to PwC, but in my experience a PIP leads to being fired, not being laid off. In that case, it sounds like they're being fairly generous by letting you continue to work, albeit with a definite end date, instead of just showing you the door.
It’s odd because they tell you that you get fired but give severance, bonus and so on but report covid related to unemployment
Feel free to DM me I was in a similar situation with pwc

I don’t understand. Severance is pay after you’re let go, if you’re still working then that’s not severance but regular pay. Talk to a lawyer
They didn’t call it severance but it is effectively severance from my understanding. I read my original offer letter and I think the “notice period” (time between firing/lay off communication and end date) is my severance.

They told you you’re going to lose your job at [x] date but are continuing to pay you? Like....what do you expect? Severance is typically given to people that voluntarily left or are actually getting laid off(I.e. not pip’ed out). I’m genuinely failing to see your issue....it sounds like they are being pretty good to you.

I’ve never known any firm to give severance to people being let go for performance reasons 🤷🏻♂️
