Need help figuring out what to look for/what I’d qualify for. I would like to make the switch to consulting - the money and business travel are big motivators. I have a Masters degree (non-MBA), 4.5 YOE in operations finance (labor planning as a Senior Finance Analyst) and 6 months as a Process Engineer. Would like to break $150k and would love to get up to $200k in the next couple of years if possible. What kind of role would I possibly qualify for? The consulting language is very new to me.

Boston Audit Senior 1 to FDD Senior 1, P Dubs has given me a verbal confirmation they’re giving me the offer. What should I expect for salary range at Big 4 if I end up actually getting one and is there room for negotiation in FDD? Just don’t wana underprice myself.

A report opened to me that they are having money problems and wants a raise. We are remote and they moved to a high CoL city. We gave an increase to help with retention 6mths ago. In my response, I helped mentor with best practices on how to ask for a raise professionally since I need to make a case to my Head on finances. But their performance has been avg and not seemingly worthy of another large raise within a short period of time. But how do I respond when they talk about personal finances?

Currently SM at Bain (4 years post MBA) and was approached for a senior associate role in portfolio ops at a large PE fund. Been told 2.5 years to VP and another 2.5 years to director. Feels like the role is a bit junior but offers a 50% pay jump.

Just received an offer letter and need to sign off for background check stuff. On my resume, I didn't include a job that I was at for literally 6-7 weeks before leaving; should I be worried about this popping up on my background check/leading to any issues?
