I am joining Pwc this month and they asked me to declare all investments as a part of pre hire independence check.
Me and my husband are holding a MF which is restricted and is locked in for 3 yrs as per income tax act. They have asked me to dispose it and i told them everything and yet to recieve any response on them. Would this affect my joining in anyway? Is there any other way that they can excuse this till the locking period? PwC PwC Acceleration Centers

Can we show unequal rent split up between husband & wife for HRA?
Let's say we pay 20k in rent. I want to show that I pay 15k and wife can show 5k. Is this sort of break up possible without explicitly mentioning it in the rent agreement?

I use Zerodha for brokerage and Kuvera/Coin for MF investments.

What credit cards do you hold and which one do you recommend?

If I’m contributing to my Roth 401k vs pretax 401k and my employer matches 10% of my contributions. My employer match be 10% on my post tax contributions right? Technically meaning I’ll be getting less of my 10% employer match then if I were to do pretax 401k since that match would be on a higher amount?

Anyone else pretty terrible at managing their own finances? I have an embarrassingly little amount of cash saved.

So I used to work for this shady Series A funded startup in Mumbai. Our CEO was a drug addict who funnelled money back to a lobbyist on the VC side. They paid INR 1.2 Crores for their logo to a "creative agency", just one of the many dodgy expenses they made including multiple so-called official trips to exotic locations like Hawaii. I am really tensed, I don't want to throw away this opportunity. I was really looking forward for the interview. Would they really reschedule my interview?
