I got this a couple of years ago and it's been great. I've taken it on flights too. Much cheaper than a new chair.

Thanks for the recommendation; I actually have one of those. Maybe I need to see a chiropractor.
I have a steel case chair that is really good and trying to sell. Do you live in dc area?
Deloitte 2. Send me a dm and I am happy to sell it to you. Can take a picture if you want to see it. Or webcam it or whatever
Herman Miller aeron and Steelcase leap v2 seem to be the gold standards. Not sure if this is an add-on or included, but they have adjustable features so you can cater the lumbar support to your preference. However, these chairs go for $1000+ so if ur budget conscious I’d recommend buying a “like new” one for $400-800.
Ive had a herniated disc and spend 8-12 hours a day on a chair so I speak from experience when I say I highly recommend investing the time and money into researching and purchasing a good chair, especially if you have back issues. Don’t fall for those $100-300 chairs that claim to “ergonomic”
Sometimes it’s actually bad butt support that hurts your back. You could start with a cushion and see if that helps and possibly save some cheddah.

Ahhhhh never thought of that. I will try to get something for the butt. 😊

Very happy with my Branch & the price point is way effing better than those cited above. As with any DTC/office equipment, prepare to be patient on supply chain constraints. But very worth it ime. Super adjustable in many directions, too — works for me (5’7”) and SO (6’2”)

Got this one. With a gel seat cushion it’s been very good for the money. https://www.costco.com/bayside-furnishings-metrex-iv-mesh-office-chair.product.100522611.html
