New consultant here - when people talk about Strategy & Operations, what exactly is the operations side and what do they do? Coming from the perspective of the B4 firms having the more prestigious S&O group, but also having a separate supply chain/operations group? What’s the difference between the two ops groups?

Is it common to offer signing bonuses for product managers? I've only worked in small companies and I'm currently interviewing at a much larger company. I am expecting an offer this week, but the salary isn't quite where I want it to be. So I’ve been studying for the AWS cloud practitioner certification for a month now and completed all cloud quest levels but still not feeling 100% confident.
