Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

I’m doing alright but am just tired of playing games, working long nights without credit, being bullied by managers and clients...I really enjoyed workin, making sure we’re doing awesome work with great recommendations and making connections. A lot of people I know have left (about 1/mo in my close network). While Im definitely burnt out, I’m not willing to forgo the paycheck. Is this the general sentiment across the firm..? Or sentiment just on fishbowl? I hate the “collect a paycheck” mindset but something has to keep us sane!
General sentiment here too. Getting to the point of golden handcuffs
health over everything OP. if you’re burnt out, take time to recharge or try to schedule non-travel projects. also, you can jump to industry with similar money and better balance if you coordinate it correctly. in my opinion, money will be necessary but stress and anxiety will kill you fast and not worth the money
This is my strategy until retirement. No matter how interesting, work is still...work..
Currently sitting outside on a 1+ hour lunch.. getting paid the same as the minions sitting at their desk that skipped lunch. Prob being just as productive as them too!
Work is a part of life not life itself. I work to get paid so I can enjoy doing the things I love
Collect Paycheck while planning for the next phase. Life is too short to be coasting!
I’m in the same headspace. About to start my third year and I’ve had that mindset since the beginning. You won’t be punished. I see friends at other firms work ridiculous hours, work on weekends, and carry their work phones with them wherever they go. I don’t consider myself lazy; I just value my time over “the firm.”
