No longer waisting my time with roles, agencies or recruiters that tell you “let’s see” The reality is if something is mentioned in the job description that you don’t possess. Even if you get far in the interview stage. You’re more likely competing with people who posses it. Or you’re not getting past the first interview. Or they say it’s not a need however on the interview you’re being asked about it. A role shouldn’t be apples to apples either. Otherwise you’re not growing.

I was interviewed for a perticular customer, which went well and also received an offer. Few days before of my joining date, i came to know that the technology stack from customer got changed and customer had no requirement for which i was hired. I messed up my screenshare in a meeting with 2 colleagues and showed my personal email that had scheduling info for my onsite interviews with another company. I.e. going from managing creative projects like TV to managing website builds/UX projects. If so, what was the transition like and what helped you get your bearings in the new environment?
