Either you want to marry him or you don’t.
If you don’t know it means you don’t want to.
Work stress is irrelevant
I think you’re self sabotaging yourself.
If you’ve always wanted to marry him how is there any doubt?
If it’s work stress, do NOT let that play a part here; especially if he’s supportive in one way or another.
If it’s not a hard, unwavering yes, it’s a no. Is it something you guys had talked about?
THIS! There should be no doubt when it comes to marriage. Take time to reflect, and if you still can’t figure out what to say, try talking with a therapist! Nothing needs to be wrong to chat with one; they’re excellent at uncovering what’s really going on 💜
Unplanned for you but clearly planned for him. Every day of your married life will have some version of stress and may not be romantic all the time.
You know what you want and what to do.
Bottom line - is this the man you see yourself with through thick and thin for years to come?
Yes, really introspect on what's holding you back from saying yes
Because you said you wanted to marry him, what's the hesitation?

Also it won’t let me give the reaction I want… my goal was “support” not uplifting 😳

It’s fairly simple, a yes or no situation. Are you doubting yourself or the relationship? Work stress will always be there, if you are concerned about wedding planning; you could hold your wedding later after you feel more settled in with work
Hmmm. What’s holding you back? Is the relationship lacking something? Or is it you self sabotaging? No one and no relationship is going to be 100% perfect.

Had you discussed a marriage proposal previously?
There is no such thing as perfect timing when it comes to marriage. You really need to ask yourself if he is the one who you desire and who puts you on a pedestal and desires you back in spades. Do you share the same values? Does he respect you? Is he in debt or financially stable? The number one reason for divorce is money! If he is in debt and/or not smart about money, then it’s a red flag.
I think the first answer you gave was honest.
This is the most decision in your life!
Consulting with psychologists to assess compatibility can be helpful before making a decision. Remember, a wrong decision could potentially lead to heartbreak for both of you in the future.
