All airlines are shit... I live in Charlotte so my hometown agents know me by name and help me with whatever I need. Isn't that the most important part?
They're fine if you fly them often and have status.
The shittiest of all time
It's totally fine
Damn... maybe put that hate somewhere else. Not good for you....
Amen

All airlines suck without status. American and United are decent at mid-level status or higher.
No. I have Lifetime Platinum on #AAssholes and will avoid them, even if it means changing planes in ATL, MSP or DTW.
I soundly reject your assertion that all of the big 3 are the same. #AAssholes airlines continues to scrape the bottom of the barrel to the point that two of their senior executives couldn't take the incompetent bumbling of CEO Doug Parker and have left for UA.
I've been bumped from United and Delta in the past, I've had maintenance delays with United and Delta, and I've had shitty flight attendants on United at Delta. All of these things happen on AA as well...they all suck from time to time. 😧
1. Operational reliability (or lack thereof)
2. Punctuality (or lack thereof)
3. Customer service (or lack thereof)
#AAssholes #ihateAA #neverAA #AAsucks falls in the bottom of every one of those, perhaps just above or below Spirit Airlines.
DL shattered ops reliability last year with 241 days in which they had NO mainline cancellation worldwide. OAG has Alaska, Southwest and Delta neck and neck for punctuality. Spirit is #1 for DOT customer complaints. Guess who is #2? (Hint: not F9).
Agree!!!
Exactly - every Big 3 airline is the same, you just get accustomed to your elite status and perks on your primarily airline
😂 P2, I'd love to get a brief synopsis of why AA you believe AA is the worst
AA told me my flight was canceled once with a call, an email, and customer service confirmation. When I was heading to my changed flight the next morning, I saw the boarding gate with my "cancelled" flight. When I shared this on flyertalk, I was scolded by AApologists. Terrible airline with terrible fans.
PS: Spent 20+ years in the airline biz, so what is clear is they have no earthly idea how to run a railroad let alone an airline.
P2, with all that said, why are you lifetime Platinum if you hate it that much?
Side note, Frontier had the most customer complaints during Dec but AA had the most for the calendar year.
I earned that prior to the merger. When the idiots who were running America West became the idiots running US Airways, that was one thing. When the idiots running US Airways became the idiots running #AAssholes, in the span of about 12-18 months they drove the customer service and operational reliability into the ground and I took my 3MM and jumped to DL and haven't looked back.
