I just interviewed via zoom for JPMorgan Chase for trade support (thinking no more interviews were needed). The next day the recruiter calls me, saying that the team is very interest and went over logistics. She said she was going to talk back to the team and let me know next steps. The next day I get an e-mail requesting an interview again for the role but from the recruiting coordinator. Does JP give offers via zoom? Any similar stories?

Also, a bigger question - have you started your green card process?
Your extension can be filed 6 months before, add processing time of your firm . In EY I recommend 9 months before expiration
Never had a problem, EY4. They've always proactively reached out to extend. On my way to the third. But I don't disagree - being proactive with V&I HR and the lawyers is always prudent. It is technically the employee's responsibility
Yes
Is this your first extension? Usually 3 months before if so.. If this is your 2nd extension, there are other things to consider
If it's your 1st extension, start asking around January 2017, so it doesn't sneak up on them.
Now! Why would you wait ?
I don't know what firm you work for, but usually your lawyers and HR get in touch 10-9months prior to it expiring.
Umm EY6, I don't think that's correct. You have to let the HR and the immigration team know for extension.
Thank you all! I haven't started the green card process and started my H1B last year. I'll do it first thing in 2017!
OP- if you started your H1B last year how come it expires in 2017? Isn't H1B for 3/3.5 yrs ?
Mine is only 1.5 years because of the SoW and MSA they turned in at that time.
