One of my coworkers started complaining that I didn't wear a mask on a Zoom call, because I might "infect the people coming into my house". That so-called person is my house cleaner, and we're both triple vaccinated and are fine not wearing masks. Should I tell my coworker to mind their own business?

Sounds like a Karen. I would certainly put them in their place unless it's absolutely crucial you retain a good working relationship with them

Lol, you could go camera free and tell them that you know they get alot of anxiety seeing other people/your background so to make sure you're both comfortable you'll help them out 😄. Seriously though, it's I'd your right to conduct your home as it makes sense for you, you're doing so safely, don't have to justify it to this nosy person. Also really shouldn't announce your houekeeper's medical information, it's not ok for your coworker to even insinuate that it is appropriate. Set the boundary, but at the end of the day it really does sound like the person may be struggling. Maybe ask them if they're ok and check-in from time to time, before diving into work, if you're feeling generous.

I too like to partake in creative writing.

A huge chunk of people are still literally living in fear

Yeah 100%

Literally none of their business how you conduct your life at home

Yes you should!!!!

lol what? Wow (and I’m triple vaxxed and support public mask mandates)

100% it’s none of their business

Wait what people wear masks in their own homes (excluding the case where a household member is sick?)?????

oh god.

I had a break up and it was me who messed up. I blame myself all day and constantly have dreams of her. It’s been few months. I try to smile a lot or stay busy but randomly I cry out loud and burst into tears, I think I’m depressed. I also live alone don’t have a lot of friends and I’m 36. Can you please recommend a good therapist (I know you have to try multiple to find the right one)? And what else can I do to bring my self esteem up. Thank you

Hi there. I previously had a beautiful baby girl through IVF and emergency c-section. Now I'm in the process of completing my pre-requisites before another FET. I tried Googling but can't find any info. Anyone been through this before and know what they're referring to? I just like to be as informed as I can.

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?
