I was fortunate to work directly with the last boss for him to see my work early on when I was hired- this time there are more layers and more people between me and him. How should I handle the situation? Anybody good at maneuvering or other things political would be appreciated.
I feel the new CEO has a good amount of EQ, but perception management can play a part in how things go. I have the tendency to be a bit over aggressive in trying to compensate for people stealing the shine for the work I’ve done which won’t come across well. Any tips are appreciated!

That is quite a tough pill... All you can really do is deliver quick wins sooner rather later, and set long-term goals that those quick wins build to. Also, get as much positive time with them, and offer ways to provide them "lift"
