There was about being transferred to another office and coming back on an L1. How good are they on their word. If they follow through with that then I will be less worried.

Coming back on L1 is not guaranteed. It's all based on whether they have a need here for you to come back. Did they guarantee that they gonna apply for your H1B again if you go back to school?

I reached a breaking point with the simultaneous stress in my job and family, and accepted that I am completely burnt out. I used to be a high performing workaholic and now I no longer care about work and am just doing the minimum. Also starting to really value and focus more the life I have outside of work. I don't think I want to go back to being a stressed workaholic but this shift feels unnatural. A bit worried I will stop caring so much that I'll slip significantly. Any advice?

Hey all, has anyone felt this way?

I'm back at this job I freelanced at. I did well which is why they brought me back but I feel braindead. Sorry if that's not PC but I don't know how else to describe it!

If someone doesn't give me exact instructions then I don't know what to do next no matter how simple the task is. In meetings I feel vague like I have nothing to add. I can tell people are starting to see I'm a bit lost. I would ask for help but don't even know what I need to know.
