You’re not attractive to person a. Pretty simple.
Scientifically, you're the one putting forward a hypothesis, which is that your opinion of someone's attractiveness has some relationship to whether they're attracted to you.
You're seeing evidence to the contrary. When a theory is contradicted by the available evidence, scientists work to revise the theory, or reject it entirely if it doesn't seem to be salvageable. They don't whine about it and demand that the world explain to them why it doesn't match their theory. They find a new theory and go on from there.
I suggest considering the possibilities that you and the other people around you may not be looking for the same things in other people, that not everybody thinks the same way you do, and that something as complicated as human emotion is not likely to be well modeled by a simple theory.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Theory 1: person A is so traumatised by being less cuter (?) than another random person that they suppress all positive feelings for you
Theory 2: person A was deeply in love with you but Bill Gates (who’s also deeply in love with you) was jealous and flipped the 5G/Vaccine switch in A‘s arm

You say to person B: “you are objectively more attractive than person A”
A + B = C, scientifically.

I’m curious to know why you’re asking this question. Are you in this situation now? 🤔
Beauty is subjective. If you want to get scientific about it, you could reason that experience influences preferences. Because everyone has different experiences, everyone has different preferences. Also, beauty isn’t the only factor in attraction. Your personality, how you carry yourself, the conversation you have, your interests, and so on have a huge impact.
