Planning to move from Chicago to New York in June and get a new job. When should I start applying for roles and/or reaching out to contacts or recruiters? Are agencies still doing remote interviews or will I likely have to fly to NYC for interviews? Any advice appreciated!!

I guess Luck matters a lot even if you perform well. There would be always someone who will do better than you.

I am getting demotivated, but have to continue trying hard.

I went through the entire recruitment process and got selected for IBM ISL. Now I am being told by the HR that they are unable to release offer as there is a hiring freeze.

Can any one please tell me if its correct or just an excuse not to give me offer. If its true, when will this freeze be removed?

Gift giving help: every year around this time my husband brings up his Jan bday and basically demands I spend a lot of $ on him. I find this stressful. I was an AE for two years, took a promotion at another agency for SAE for only 8 months and am now being recruited for AS at 80k. All of my agencies have been large, I’ve worked on pharma and a large global account, I also started “managing” at the AE level due to my team’s structure. Is $80k fair? Thanks!

Straight up plagiarism imo. Literally search "adoptable dog on beer can" and the Motorworks stuff comes up, so not googling the idea beforehand is not an excuse.
