Hey folks
I got a call from TCS to interview for a new unit formed within org with the name of Business Transformation Group as per new org restructuring. Anyone from TCS who can help to understand more about this?
Does it cater to only niche technologies or how does this actually function?

Hi,
My last working day was 11th Nov and I submitted my asset to TCS location and got the Initial release letter as well. Later on 17th or 18th of Nov, I got a message from TCS that they have sent the Packing material through Vendor, please accept it.
I didn't accept the material and cancelled it when the delivery boy came to my location.
So, is it going to create any problem in getting reliving letter? Share your thought please

Yep broke down in front of a few bosses before. We’re human, life hits you hard and corporate world doesn’t help make it any better sometimes.
Give yourself some grace my friend, you’re out here trying to stay dry through a storm. Sending you all the good vibes that you know you’re stronger than you realize to get through this moment. 💛✨
Thank you so much!! 💜 I really needed to hear that.
Hey! I’ve been there before. I cry when I’m stressed and angry. Which are sometimes emotions I have at work because I’m not a robot. I hope your boss gave you a kind word or some space in that moment.
Thank you! This is uplifting. Yes, he asked if there is anything he can do to help. But I did not wish to share. He seemed understanding; I just hoped it wouldn’t cause him to give me less credit as a woman.
I’ve cried in front of every boss I’ve ever had lol
I recently lost my mom. I’ve been an emotional mess for 2 months now. I’ve cried in my weekly 1x1 with my VP, my monthly global VP call, and a few team meetings. I’ve cried with a few colleagues. Every single one of my colleagues has been understanding, compassionate and supporting. Zero judgement. It happens. Don’t get stuck in your emotions. We all experience highs and lows.
I’m sorry to hear you lost your mom too. Nothing could have ever prepared me for this. It was unexpected. I received a text one morning, everything was normal and ok. And that evening received a call she was gone.
I lost it. I almost sabotage my career, my relationship, myself. I fell into such a bad depression. If it wasn’t for my amazing fiancé, pushing me every day to get up and do simple things I would have crashed and burned. Brush my hair. Brush my teeth. Wash my face. Eat. Drink water. I was incapable of doing anything. I still have my moments. I still don’t feel like it’s a reality. And I’m taking life 15 minutes at a time today. .
I just did that 2 weeks ago, you have nothing to worry about. Most people these days understand that times are hard right now, and I promise you that your boss can relate on some level. Unless your boss has no soul, I’m sure they can handle you being human in front of them from time to time. Hope this helps😊
Yes! 💙

Absolutely not - I've cried in front of every boss I've ever had at some point.

You are not alone, and there's nothing wrong with your reaction. We've all done it. Just remember when you're the boss and someone inevitably cries, it's all about the empathy you wish you'd gotten. 🤍
Not alone! I’ve done it, and I’ve seen multiple threads on fishbowl about this. It happens, we’re all human. If you feel the need to explain (not apologize), tell him you’ve been having a rough time personally and it spilled over, and you appreciated his support.
Exactly what I did! Thank u for the encouragement ☺️
Wow, I am grateful for the outpouring that you all have shared. Blessings to all of you in your journey; it is always great to see women uplifting one another 😊

Thank u! 🧡💛🤍
I could win prizes for how many times I’ve cried in front of my boss. I only cry from extreme overwhelm in my workload. We’re human beings. Good managers know that.
Definitely not alone! I cried to my boss about a month ago. We’re human, it happens. Hopefully they’re supportive and understanding
You are human and it’s ok! As a boss I’ve had employees, business partners, clients etc. cry in front of me it happens. Lord knows the endless times I’ve been on the edge of sobbing at work and yes there are times were it will effect how people view you(like in the middle of a conference). So I try practice coping skills so I can wait till I’m in a private setting to cry or have my mini meltdown 😅 So don’t beat yourself up over this, but I would definitely recommend creating little tricks to help so you don’t feel overwhelmed. DM me if you need help 🤗
Thank u ☺️
Hello everyone
It's absolutely ok. You are human ♥️. I hope you receive the compassion and empathy that you deserve 🙏
I was in 1:1 and my boss was nitpicking on silly situation or each and every message I sent and I started crying. I believe I work hard, but the issues she brings up are silly and dumped on me directly without any compassion. As soon as I started crying she told me it is ok, take a minute, but she never stopped dragging on that meeting and badgering me with more feedback. One quarter later , I got a feedback that I can’t take constructive criticism.
I hope at least you got a understanding boss
This is totally not ok.. hope you are now in a more supportive situation. Yeah, I have had some similar issues. Looking while trying to fly under the radar.
