Got 10 % mid year hike on a fine day unexpectedly which pushed my cctc to 29.2
We have 60k ceo bonus and 18% variable pay I am getting since last 4 years.
After checking lot of posts here it seems I am on low ctc here.

This situation cuts across all sectors and one will think that all that talk and shared moments will actually spark action. It is quite unfortunate!
I think this is a common problem and something many workplaces didn't adequately plan for. To me, it's just a good reminder that work and personal life should be separate. And organizations should prepare better before creating these initiatives. DEI needs to be handled properly.
Depending on the size of the firm, they just may not know better. I think roughly have the DEI problems I see at (mostly midsized or smaller) companies are due to a lack of experience and associated lack of a playbook, since this is a newer area to them. This is where resources that are educated in DEI can make a difference. Don't be down on those that "don't know what they don't know" - help them move forward.
