Gave interview in TCS, it went pretty well. At the end, the tech interviewer asked my expected ctc. After mentioning as 27lpa, he asked if can be negotiated, told yes.
After that didn't get any feedback, its been around 5days.
Is 27lpa too much fr tcs? 🤔

Bird in hand.. new role is better given the increased salary today plus better work environment.
All this "we'll promote you faster" is BS. No one will give that it writing
It’s all about individual priorities. If money and role is important, stay with current firm. If wlb is important switch to new firm. Go with the gut feeling. There is no wrong decision here.
The money can only be a motivating factor for so long. If they were happy, they wouldn’t be looking
Take the new Opprtunity and start fresh
They took the new job, thanks all!
Good for them, good luck to them!
Stay with it and take the bonus assuming there is no retention offer/clawback in the mix
Bounce; what even is this. Go grow and build off a better role and base. Don’t stagnate. $200k is a lot, but chump change still comes to mind.
With the limited facts just shared* sorry was running out of space

Can you just hit us with the bare minimum facts?
1. Current TC / Role
2. New TC / Role
3. Terms of $200k retention (vesting or cliff)
