Prayers for my marriage. Satan is working hard these days to destroy unions

My partner of 5 years ended our relationship last night. I’m shattered and feel absolutely sick, and I know the healing isn’t going to be easy. We were on the verge of an engagement and I was ready to spend the rest of my life with him.

I don’t know how to approach work during this time. I think I can get by, but I’m definitely not 100%. Should I talk to my boss about it? My team is close-knit and comfortable around each other, but I don’t know if it’s “appropriate.” What would you do?

Anyone here do HR for an organization with both union and non union employees? My organization is very small consisting of 8 union employees and 7 non union employees. Have you ever had to deal with a loud upstairs neighbor? I’ve only seen her once and it’s been over a year but I hear her literally every day. This girl has never taken a ballet class in her life and it sounds like she walks with bowling balls strapped to her feet. I’ll be deep in sleep and REGULARLY get woken up by what sounds like furniture being moved around. How do you approach this? It’s been very negatively affecting my sleep.

I’ve been working to an unhealthy degree lately. And I’ve been making the excuse that I have a lot of work right now, but I’m starting to wonder if I’m addicted to it. Part of it is anxiety and perfectionism. But my behavior is now actively harmful to myself and starting to harm my marriage.

Our diocese has decided on full return 5 days/ week for all 42 schools despite a recent increase in COVID in our communities. I've been working at my current job for about a year now and I'm finally beginning to understand how the company works.

It's not easy, though. It's a small company, which means there are only a few of us in each department. There is no dedicated training team, so we all have to learn new things on the fly through trial-and-error or by asking our coworkers for help. The management team seems to be pretty hands off when it comes to project management and project direction, so it's up to us engineers to figure out how we want to spend our time and who we want to work with.

One can imagine work here as meant in the maximum of work vs life here.

I know people who are constantly crashing and that’s without the set time for prayer. And despite hearts or gold, obvious piety and a high work ethic.

We should really get a virtual consultants bible study together, atleast through the midst of this.
