Presented counter offer to wipro today. The HR said he ll see what best he can do and asked for the offer letter. Is this usual? Surprising thing is he didnt ask for the expected ctc part based on the new offer. So will they just match the counter offer or might as well give hike on that???

Please advise. And if they revise , the offer letter will they give it in a day or two or just before the lwd. Lwd is 10 days away.
