What is SUNDRY allowance in Accenture?
I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

I'm 2 years in from undergrad, promoted to senior, 95K. I'd say get another offer and see if Deloitte wants to match or beat it else sail away to a new firm. Technology resources are valuable, you have leverage. (Assuming cyber is tech?)
Fuck everyone hating on you OP. 80k is low- everyone knows this. Interview at ACN or PWC- get offer around 95/98k and bring it back to ACN. Regardless of their "decision" it'll be a win/win for you. Good luck!
Consider how blessed you are to be in a position to complain about an 80k salary.
Think of it as the Universe asking you to find another job that pays what you deserve.
@D3 according to some claims on FB, we hire kids straight out of undergrad at 80-85k. The PPD who informed me of my comp, even recognized that it's on the low end of the band. Advisory SC isn't a direct lateral correlation to Consulting C, and to answer your question about why I deserve more, would take more time and energy than we've both got :-) I'm not your average bear asking for something, for nothing.
Wow. Really. Post MBA salary for senior consultant is north of $140...
First - Don't be condescending, 80k isn't peanuts, it's more than most families have at an older age
Second - if you think you're worth more, just go get another fuckin job
And your issue is? Advisory SC is Consulting C and 80k is in the high band for first year C. Why do you deserve more on 2 years experience?
OP wanted to be a victim and was displeased to find out that they are not..
Lol I'm not a victim, it's just a low salary! Some people here need a nap and a hug.
Same
Maybe you had better check that earlier thread regarding layoffs
@op, that seems low.. I'm aware that IBM isn't known for its high pay, but even band 7s (equivalent to your C - senior consultant of 2 plus years) are between 85 and 90k depending on city and eval scores. I'm at 88k personally and thought the competition would match if not add to that at big 4/MBB
Meh, OP has a right to fee underpaid (they are lol). I'm not about to shame someone for not getting paid what they feel they deserve. If you want more, go get it. Consulting is grueling enough that I can empathize.
As a top performer, I made $71k in Advisory when I was promoted to SC 3 years ago, so don't feel bad. My manager promotion came with a 33% pay increase. Just keep grinding.
Tons of tangents here, that have nothing to do with the original post. I agree, I know lots of people who are genius scientists, researchers, and educators, who will probably never make 80k. Also, I am SUPER thankful for what I have. None of this changes the simple fact that 80k is low, it's not customary to what we pay people. I had no intention of this going much deeper, or having any secondary tone. The "kill me" in the original post was just supposed to be light-hearted, not taking ourselves too seriously, thought maybe we could all have a good chuckle on a Tuesday. Thanks for all your input, mates. Cheers!
Promoted to SC in Deloitte, 4 years experience, 74k.. Don't feel so bad op
The bench is getting bigger in S&O.
Thought, on average, Analyst to C was 1-2 yrs in Consulting and C to SC was 2-3 yrs in Advisory. Not sure there's a direct comparison
Deloitte OP, you might be the smartest person on this planet. But people who make 80K are not necessarily average or mediocre and people who make 6 figure or more salaries are not necessarily the brightest. Once you get older (and possibly more mature), you would realize this. Sorry if I sounded harsh but seriously your post and the comment about "not your average bear.." is a bit condescending!
