Prudential Financial - Calling all employees, how is wlb there? Specifically in tax but in general as well.
Thinking about applying. Any input is appreciated!

Are they fully remote? How bad is busy season?

Thank you!!

Depends on which team but I would say wlb is great

like

Tax comes in once a week. Busy environment but team is good.

like

Busy season is about 2-3 weeks and may require some weekends. Things had gotten better over the years.

like

No clue about tax, but most are still fully remote and will be for a while more and then go hybrid. WLB depends on division.

I am feeling hopeless. I’m a tax senior been through 4 busy seasons with Deloitte. The tax I’m in is pretty niche and I kinda wanna leave tax all together since I wanna start a family and personally can’t do it with another busy season. I don’t know who is willing to hire me because I feel pigeonholed. I’m just hating every moment with this firm right now. Any advice on what positions/companies might be best to look into?
