PwC Australia: After third round interview with partner, how long until we hear back and what is next step?

Any place hiring or looking to proactively interview CDs /teams? (I know it's a long shot during 'rona, but it's also a perfect time to snag great talent!)

I was recently interviewing a very good candidate who was not only technically strong but also had a very good problem solving skill. Below is his yoe and tech stack
Total yoe 11, RPA 6(AA)
Certified in all AA versions.
CCTC 25LPA
Expecting 40LPA
I felt this is a desirable ask but we didn't have enough budget to accomodate. Now we are going back to drawing board to reshuffle the budget for next FY, what would be an apt scale for someone with the profile above?

Thoughts on calendar being double booked? What are the etiquettes to be followed. Often people double book and it feels like “ my meeting is more important that whatever you have booked time for in yours”. If both meetings are same urgency/importance - what’s the best approach ? What are the expectations of leadership - to throw everything away and jump on to calls based on seniority ?
