I'm up for a raise soon and I'm at 43,000 a year. Anyone have any advice on what I should ask for?

Hello! I’m gearing up for my year end comp conversation and I’d like to be a better idea of what people are making to ask for a raise. I work for a large asset manager and sell alternative investments (PE, RE, Credit, Infra etc) to RIAs, family offices, and multi family offices. I’m currently an associate, but am hoping to get VP this cycle. Any insight on what your comp looks like and how it’s structured would be super helpful!

I was initially considered for an insights and analytics Manager - experience management opportunity, aced all the interviews and the recruiter got back to me saying they really liked me but are considering me for a Senior Consultant position in order to ‘set me up for success’, and that I could be promoted to manager anywhere within 3 to 6 months..
Not super excited about the ‘drop’ in title, I currently am Sr Mgr of analytics at a Fintech managing a team of 4 FT analysts

I am in PDM Specialist/ senior consultant 1 &2. This is my promotion year. How do i conform the next title is PDM specialist 2 or the PDM manager?

Should I stay at a company I know I like culture-wise when my manager said they will try to promote me, but with no guarantee. Or should I take a job offer I was given with a nice raise, but is in consulting at Slalom. I have not worked in consulting before. There is no travel with Slalom, but the idea of being the new person all the time isn’t too appealing. Less pay and known culture, or more pay unknown job satisfaction?

As I browse available positions in my area, I’m realizing there is a LOT of crossover between my current org and others, for example shared board members, folks who are on our board and employed at one of the institutions I’m interested in, etc.. hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.

I’ve been running into weird happenings at my new firm learn of everything “I misunderstood” about my package. I don’t actually qualify for quarterly bonuses at a pro-rated billing rate; no 401ks till year 2; and the biggest—we don’t qualify for a raise unless we are here during the entire fiscal year. We have a 2100 billable req which I’m barely hitting. We also get paid below 6 figures. I learned that the new associates came is at least $10k over us. I graduated 2020–but 1st firm job. Advice?

Have a call post PIP with my manager and the PIP didn’t go well so I am not confident. There is no HR invited to the call. Can the manager fire me or will the HR show up last minute? This is a fortune 100 firm. I have day off today but the manager asked me to please join for 30 min saying it’s “work related question”
