Question about the VRE…I interviewed and got denied. Has anybody went through the appeal process? I am trying to use it for a masters in accounting. The rejection letter said I “qualify for suitable employment with the education and work history that I have acquired.” Is there any way I can appeal this decision and if so, do y’all have any advice on how and if I can appeal this decision?

Is it common to negotiate software engineer salary at smaller companies? I know it’s common at FAANG, but what about for companies with around 200 engineers? I have a counter offer from my current company and on-site interviews scheduled for end of July with google and Amazon, but I’d prefer to go with the smaller local company if I can negotiate the salary (from offer letter) up another 5% or so.

Now I see that I am not eligible to apply the role which I was targeting for the next 6 months. Any idea how can I get this escalated so that the recruiter ( Accenture employee) should at least be careful in future before fooling a noob like me?

Thursday I received mail from HR of JP morgan regarding my availability for the interview. I replied to mail stating I am available for interview on Monday 22th August 10 am till the end of week. I haven't received any response from HR. I am little worried have they cancelled my candidature?. Please share your thoughts on this.

I'm holding an offer from MakeMyTrip and another offer from OlaElectric. Ninjacart is willing to make me an offer. But they're saying that they'd discuss the offer only after the other company that I'm interviewing with has come up with an offer first. There's been a delay from HRs of the companies in a similar way. How do I urge them to send me the offer letter without sounding pushy? I had reached out to some of the HRs myself. Would that be too awkward if I accept & back out their offer?

I’ve been here for 4 years and I’m thinking of obtaining my Master’s in Organizational Leadership, but I feel like with this merger, if I started the program and then there are layoffs or too many new hires, or work just becomes overwhelming, I wouldn’t be able to complete my program.
