Question for anyone at Slalom Consulting . I’ve been through 4 rounds of interviews and have a call scheduled with the recruiter “to connect” after the new year.

Friends, I have 11+ years of experience and have been selected for a L5 Non Tech PM role. Amazon is offering me 24 base + 8 SB + 200 RSUs. I will have to relocate to South India (from Delhi) for this and probably the offer may not cater to my expenses. this is super late but i was wondering if the call you got was a rejection or offer!!? currently in the same boat & awaiting a call!
How senior was the last person you interviewed with? If it was a Director, then it’s likely an offer.
Yeah then it’s probably an offer. Be prepared to review the offer and discuss salary expectations if that didn’t already happen.
Sounds like an offer!
That’s what it seems like. I’ve never heard of setting up a call for a rejection, but wanted to make sure that isn’t part of the process.. probably just nerves haha.
Some of our recruiters do provide rejections via phone as well to give you feedback.
Hoping for the best for you though!
That’s good to know, thanks!
Usually this is just to stay connected while deals are closing or opportunities line up and start dates with the ops team line up. Decisions are often quick and by email so don't think it's a rejection.
In my experience, scheduled calls to connect arent usually rejections. Calls to reject you are usually unscheduled, because they wouldn’t mind just emailing you if you don’t answer.
I had 2 interviews with Slalom Consulting and the recruiter has schedule a 15 min call to "connect" what is this mean? I worked as a recruiter for a while and never scheduled a call to reject a candidate.
What is this call mean? I'm super nervous. @Slalom Consulting
