Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?

Not really. I did have to speak intelligently about my comment, though.
I did once. The interviewer was just thinking about a tricky legal question and wanted an outside perspective. It’s definitely unusual in my experience though.

Never ran into this for law firms. In house interviews this seems common though.
But as someone interviewing candidates, I do press them to talk specifically about particular matters and their experience in XYZ area if relevant to what we’re hiring for.
I prepared a few responses for “tell us about a legal issue that came up on a past deal and how you solved it” - I don’t remember if I was actually asked that question, but I tried to work something substantive in to most of my interviews (upon the advice of my recruiter, who was excellent at interview prep - I got offers everywhere I interviewed). No one asked me a hypo or anything though.
In the past, I’ve interviewed with five firms and had offers from all five. Only one asked substantive questions, was just being a hardo, I had no clue how to respond, got the offer

Nothing substantive, though I imagine if I’d portrayed myself as a specialist in certain areas, I might have. I did have a fun debate with an associate interviewer when we realized we were both working on cases involving the same somewhat obscure statute, but making opposite arguments.
